SXSW 2011
SXSW’s Panel Picker opened today. I spent some time browsing through some of the proposals and wanted to share some of the ones that seemed interesting to me. Along with that, I’m lucky enough to be involved in two proposals that I’ve linked below. Of course, I’d be happy to have your vote on those, but only if you’re interested in hearing me talk your face off.
My panel proposals:
- Developers: Saving the Web From Your Dick Move
- Collaboration Nation: How Side-Projects Can Keep You Relevant
Other panel proposal’s I think would be great:
- Switch: From Freelance to Entrepreneur
- Ordering Disorder: Grid Design for the New World
- Fail Big, Fail Often: How Fear Limits Creativity
- Building Native Apps with HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Creative and Effective Leadership in Design Environments
- Loyalty 3.0: Fully Leveraging Your Raving Fans
- Interaction Jones and the Temple of Doom
- Streamlining the Redesign of Yahoo! Mail and Messenger
- Company Culture, It’s All Your Fault
If you’ve never attended SXSW, I would HIGHLY recommend it. Last year was my first, and it was well worth the trip. If you do plan on attending, be an active participant and be sure to vote for the panel proposals that you find interesting.
