Is It Lupus

One of my first things to finish this year was a blog for my wife.  She had been asking for a while, and I was all the wiser for finishing this before anything else.  I did all the work (design/development) on this with a bit of help from my friend Harold on the logo/mark.  I’m actually pretty happy with how things turned out.  

Technically speaking, the site runs on ExpressionEngine with only a few templates to power the entire site.  So far the Recipes section has been a popular area, as has the Journal.  It’s really a great place for my wife to share all that’s going on in her life, from her faith to her health (yes, she has lupus and yes, the name is taken from that episode of Seinfeld).

 One final note, as far as CMS’s go I’ve used a LOT and the very fact that my wife can easily enter complex information (recipes data) with ease really says a lot about the power and user-friendliness of ExpressionEngine.
